Arraiolos carpet (tapete de Arraiolos) is a type of embroidered wool rug made in a small town in southern Portugal, called Arraiolos.
Of oriental inspiration, it has decorated palaces and homes in Portugal since it began being produced in the 16th century.
In this spirit, we would like to introduce to you a creative workshop from Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva Foundation where you can learn this longstanding art form.

Dates: 3rd of March until 26th of May (every friday except the 14th of April), from 15h00 to 17h00.
