If you have not had the opportunity to see the most recent exhibition of the MNAA - please join us on Wednesday, the 5th of April, at 11.30 a.m. for a guide tour in English.
The Exhibition starts with the recently “discovered” paintings by an unknown Netherlandish master of a view of the Rua Nova dos Mercadores in Lisbon, destroyed in the disastrous earthquake of 1755, and includes 4 areas about the significance of the city as the center of a worldwide trading empire, stretching from West and East Africa to India, The Far East and Brasil - “Novelties”, “From Africa”, Shopping on the Rua Nova”, “Animals From Other Worlds” and “Simão de Melo’s House".
The exhibition closes on April 9th, so this would be one of the last chances to visit.
Meeting point: MNAA entrance (Rua das Janelas Verdes).
