As announced, this month, on the 22nd of September, we will visit the Casa Ermelinda Freitas in Setúbal, which produces wines of an excellent quality and is a wonderful example of a successful family business. And since we are in this season, we will take advantage of attending the harvest, a very specialized work that employs many workers who, year after year, harvest the grapes that will be later, as traditionally, pressed by foot. Then we will be able to watch the process resorting to modern technologies. There will be then a visit to the wine cellars followed by a wine tasting and we will hear about the history of the undertaking. Afterwards a luncheon will be served graciously offered by Ms Leonor Freitas, daughter of the founder and now the owner of the Casa Ermelinda Freitas. At the end of our day we will visit the shop, where we will be able to buy some of the wines we have tasted and enjoyed most.
