In the month of April the usual meeting of the Associação das Famílias dos Diplomatas Portugueses will be a different one. We will be able to manufacture a jewel, be it a necklace, bracelet or earrings, choosing the colour of the stones and other materials, according to our imagination and creativity... It will be a fun morning, gathering around a table and, by the end of the session, each one of us will be the proud owner of a work of art.
All this has been made possible due to the generous collaboration of our friend and well-known jeweller Ana Calheiros, who, besides being our teacher and guide, generously offers all the materials we will use.
The wife of the Romanian Ambassador, Nicoleta Popovici, will kindly make available the drawing-rooms of her residence (Rua de S. Caetano, 5 - Lapa) and will be our hostess, since from the first day we talked about this workshop she was deeply interested. We here acknowledge and thank her for her cooperation and friendship.
The meeting will take place on Monday, the 18th of April, at 10 o’clock. It will be limited to 20 persons, therefore we ask those interested in the event to register at the AFDP until Wednesday, April 13th.
